Eco-Friendly Transformation: Labtech Engineering’s Solar Rooftop Project

On 5 July 2024, Labtech Engineering Co., Ltd. solidified its commitment to sustainability by signing a contract with Marubeni Green Power for the installation of a multi-roof solar rooftop system across their factories. With a total installation capacity of 615.9 kWp, this project incorporates multiple MEA meters and includes roof reinforcement work. The solar system will be installed on the roof of Labtech Engineering located at Praksa, Muang Samutprakarn. The solar system is projected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 277 metric tons annually, underscoring our dedication to environmental stewardship.

Labtech Engineering, globally well-known manufacturer of precision laboratory and pilot plant machinery for polymers, is investing in this solar system, with Marubeni Green Power (the EPC Contractor) , responsible for the installation, construction, and procurement. This partnership will help provide sustainable green energy, benefiting both business operations and the environment.

This project offers significant benefits to Labtech Engineering, including substantial cost savings on electricity, a reliable and clean energy source, and a significant reduction in carbon emissions. The installation will enhance our energy independence, protect towards future energy price fluctuations, and contribute to our corporate social responsibility goals. By integrating renewable energy into our operations, we are making considerable progress in our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.
