On June 4, 2025, Howa Packaging (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (HOWA) signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Marubeni Green Power Asset 2 (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MGP) for a solar rooftop installation with a capacity of 768.15 kWp.
The project is located at Howa’s new manufacturing facility within the WHA Saraburi Industrial Estate.
HOWA is a Japanese packaging materials manufacturer headquartered in Chiba Prefecture. In response to a significant increase in exports of flexible packaging materials, this factory was established to strengthen the local supply system and meet growing future demand.
The solar system is expected to be installed and operational within 2025. MGP is honored to support Howa’s expansion into Thailand by providing clean, renewable energy and contributing to their sustainable business practices.
